Mind Spa is a service available at UMBC that gives a space to students who need somewhere to relax. From their website: “[t]he Mind Spa is equipped for the practice of mindfulness, meditation, relaxation, and overall self-care.”

With this in mind, I wanted to design something that had a relaxing feeling while remaining remniscient of UMBC. I focused on a lesser known color in UMBC’s official color pallete: teal. Combining this teal with UMBC’s gold allowed me to pull in a spa-like aesthetic that still felt like part of the university.
