PUSH is a bitmap inspired typeface made in FontStruct. However, once the typeface is finished, a second challenge emerges: advertising it! Due to FontStructs block-based building interface, and the nostalgia inherent with bitmap, I decided to go for a look inspired by technology and toy advertisements in the late 90s/early 2000s.
Advertising PUSH became a celebration of the color palettes used to advertise to me as a child combined with 2023’s romanticization of Y2K. Neon colors, chunky technology, and chrome effects galore!
